Tengwar question

Hi, guys. I am very new to this live journal thing in general, but I am very happy to see that there is a nice little Tolkien community for us cool nerds. Lately, I have been studying up on the tengwar writing system and I was wondering if any of you guys could help me find the answer to the following questions:
1) How would one represent the diphthong [ui]? I have been using what looks like "ö" because it is the "u" tengwa with the "¨" tehta that apparently can represent an "-i" in a diphthong, but I doubt that I am correct.
2) I can't seem to find a satisfatory way for representing the consonant "y" in Quenya. I know that on some charts of the tengwar, something is listed for "y," but I think that is supposed to be the vowel, which only occurs in Sindarin (as in Ylmir, mellyn, yrch, etc.) Anyway, I really want to know some way of writing this letter because I am trying to write out "Galadriel's Lament" in the tengwar and there are a lot of y's in that masterpiece.
